Tender-Arted Elijah

Elijah had an idea one morning as he was playing with Motley that the rodent needed a play mat. So he unrolled a considerable length of paper- yes, it needed to be THIS long- and went to work. He allowed Sadie, Chris, and I to lend minimal help.

It’s important that Motley knows about love and friendship. The entire length of paper has green grass on the bottom, blue sky on the top, and different shapes and sizes of people holding hands all the way down. Here’s a peak at just a few of the people. Elijah doesn’t enter into art as lightly as does Sadie. His artistic undertakings are big, serious, and planned out. He continues to pull this out and work on it and promises to be understanding when Motley (as Motley does) chews on it.
