The Same Day?!?

13 Oct

That’s right! We left Anna’s birthday party after having a wonderful morning and headed to lunch with our friends Kelly, Josh, Declan, Liam, and Alistair for Josh’s 30th birthday! After pizza, we headed to our house for a pit stop.

Elijah and Declan play some Lego Star Wars on Playstation. Declan is excited that Elijah has an interest in video games which are his forte!

We had intended on going bowling but, aside from cost, the ‘no smoking bowling alley’ is apparently only non-smoking a few days a week. The smoke was pervasive and, with Liam having bronchitis and possible asthma, we opted for mini-golf. This has resulted in many conversations about asthma, lung problems, and smoking.

Indoor, psychodelic, black-lit mini-golf!

Anti-camera Elijah hides behind his club.

It’s hard to leave the mall. They know how to rope you in for hours! Declan, Sadie, and Elijah spin the teacup on the carousel.

I think I saw this in a circus once. How many children can you fit in one red wagon? I’m sure we could’ve gotten five or six more… Here sit Elijah, Declan, Alistair and (delighted to be squooshed under a baby) Sadie. What a fun and thoroughly exhausting day!

I’m amazed at the energy that y’all have! The kids & I were all toast after the pumpkin patch escapades! 🙂

Love the pic of all the kids piled in the wagon. Too funny!!
