Fingerprints

26 Jun

We went to see the smooth jazz and soul band Fingerprints at the town hall. They were fantastic!

Gretchen, Sadie, and Elijah are riveted watching the saxophonist play the longest, most melodic note ever. Christine called it ‘circular breathing.’ I call it awesome- stop ruining it! πŸ™‚

Lest you not have enough motion sickness in your life- watch my video! The music is great. The pan of our friends could use some work (or a tripod).

After a bit, we meandered down to the lawn while the kids frolicked to the sweets sounds of smooth jazz and soul.

Thanks for yet another wonderful experience with you and the Half-Pint-Parents! You’re a saint for letting me wander off with Little Miss It’s-Too-Loud (oh, the irony!). Anna and Gretchen are still talking about how much fun they had. πŸ™‚

I wish we could have joined you, too. My kiddos absolutely love jazz music (& Ethan is especially fond of the saxophone). That lake/fountain & the scenery/landscaping around it is absolutely gorgeous!

So, was there any particular reason why Christine didn’t have a head in your whole-lotta-shakin’-going-on video? πŸ™‚

Ronet, haven’t you heard that I remove my head for jazz concerts? πŸ˜›
