Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History

25 May

Aside from the fairly standard animal and environmental dioramas, we hit the Giants: African Dinosaurs exhibit which was small but fascinating. Huge photographs of archeology digs interspersed between the fantastic skeletal models and some hands-on pieces made this a very interesting room.

Touching the topography of the Pacific Ocean’s floor was also a ‘highpoint.’

Who knew? A nature trail. We love wandering around in the woods!

I wanna go, too!! With all the amazing stuff you guys have been doing, Santa Barbara is seeming like the best place in EVER. 🙂 If gas prices ever go down, I’m thinking definite road trip!

Kaylee has been asking me to see a real dinosaur bone. I will have to show her the pictures of your adventure tomorrow!
